Peter D. McDermott Obituary

The passing of Peter D. McDermott (Pocatello, Idaho) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, P. A. McDermott and Emily McDermott; his wife Sande; and his sister Sande. He is survived by: his girlfriend Diane; his daughter Lynell Baty (Kirk); his granddaughters, Brianne Baty Minor (Jake) and Brittany Baty Truman (Boden); his great grandchildren, Dax and Eli Truman; his stepson Tod Roebuck (Jen); and his cousins, Dale Smith (Vicki), Jim Peters and Judy Peters.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (524 N 7th Ave, Pocatello, ID 83201). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1520 S 5th Ave, Pocatello, ID 83205). A reception will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Idaho State University Alumni Center.
