She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Johannes "John" Nielsen and Sarah Elizabeth Phillips; her husband Charles Wilburt Chapin; and her brother John Nielsen (Ann). She is survived by: her children, Carol Squibb (Richard), Denay Moles (Gary), Donna Askam (Doug) and Don Walling.
