With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Poulos of Pocatello, Idaho, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on February 7, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dimitris Skoulekaris and Ourania Papamitsaki; and her siblings, Yiorgos, Lefteris, Manolis, Eleni and Evangelia.
She is survived by: her children, Helene Poulos-Edmo (Les Edmo) and George Papadopoulos (Becky Roberts); her grandchildren, Lee James, Natalie, Benjamin and Nicholas; and her great grandchildren, Ariana, Alexander and Christian.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (518 N 5th Ave, Pocatello, ID 83201). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1520 S 5th Ave, Pocatello, ID 83201).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in Maria's name.
