She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leland and Ethel Mae Stinger Barrett. She is survived by: her husband Reed Howe; and her children, Steve, Stephan (Leslie), Fred (Bonnie), Julie and Janeen Conley (Bill). She is also survived by her family and friends.
Margaret's dedication and compassion were evident in her volunteer work at the VA Hospital, Leisure World Golden Age Foundation, and the Seal Beach Police Department (which brought about the beloved nickname "Sarge").
