It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lora Lea Young (Pocatello, Idaho), born in Junction City, Kansas, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Young; her parents, Pauline Lawrence (Brady) and Ralph Parrot; and her siblings, Richard, Larry Parrott and Celest Daley (Parrott).
She is survived by: her siblings, Janet Hooper (Parrott) and Tony Leonardi; her children, Diana Weeks (Phil), Tina Allen (Chuck), Dawn Scott (Randy), Sabrenia Sweeney (Kevin), Jim Baker (Lacey) and Holly Dunn (Mike); and her stepchildren, Rodney, David and Lori Young.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lora's name to a local public school of your choice to pay for past due student lunch accounts as Lora had a deep passion for helping others and would like to repay the generosity received as her children were growing.
