He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Bunce-Byers; his caregiver Evelyn of Heritage Hospice; his close friends, Mark, Merridith Redden Mel Apel and Tim Atkinson; his son Shane Howell (Tammy); his grandchildren, Cordel and Sydnie Howell; his daughter Carole Sue Byers; and his siblings, Claudia Edwards and Ron Howell (LaRae).
