He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Spahr and Wynona Jarrell Spahr; his friends, Dave Horrocks, Bob Mulick, Paul Smith, Dick Webb and Allen Knowles; and his siblings, Glen, Max, Gerald, Richard, Robert and Sandra.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Kaelyn Coltrin (Tracy) of Meridian, Trisha Michaelson (Glen) of Nampa and Stacie Doxey (Alan) of Nampa; his grandchildren, Stephanie Blackburn (Jared), Tiffany Coltrin, Phill Coltrin, Zachary Michaelson (Tessica Tripple), Matthew Michaelson, Andrew Doxey (Alexis), Ashley Sholer (Dylan), Brooke Doxey and Catherine Doxey; and his great grandchildren, Gabe, Aliyah, Evelyn, Abigail, Rachel, Sam, Henry and Margaret. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
