It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Louise Akers in Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jens Andersen and Mamie Andersen (Carlson); her husband William Akers (Bill); her siblings, Robert Andersen, Doris Raymond and Shirley Patchin; her son Gregory Scott Akers; and her great grandchild Harper Akers.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas William Akers (Lois), Roger Lynn Akers (Carole) and Valerie Kay Hase (Bill); her grandchildren, Jeremiah Johnson (Shannon), Christopher Johnson, Tracey Johnson, Sarah Klein (Sean), Scott Akers (Lindsay), Greggory Hase (Amris) and Michael Hase; and her great grandchildren, Miah, Jacob Johnson, Rebecca, Ethan Klein and Tatum Akers.
