She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ryska and Grace Ryska; her stepmother Hazel; her brother Roger; her grandson Jordan; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Lane and Betty Heaton.

She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Heaton; her children, Keri Taylor (Richard), Brian Heaton (Thea), Kimberly Naaf (Tom) and Brent Heaton (Ruth); her grandchildren, Sandy Taylor, Heather Amidon (Bobby), Alyssa Craven (Derek), Rebecca Phillips (Justin), Nick Naaf (Leann), Joshua Taylor (Bre), Brad Naaf (Rachael), Cassidy Jennings (Carter), Wayne Heaton (Grace), Louie Heaton, Samuel Heaton and Sawyer Heaton; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Ryska, Patti Hulvershorn, Mary Heaton, Richard Heaton and Doyle Heaton. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce Ryska Heaton was called home by her Savior on January 15th, 2023, after a 37-year battle with Parkinson's disease.
