She is survived by: her siblings, Blanche and Marvin Smith; her friend Jay Burke; her daughters, Valerie and Debi; her grandchildren, Devin Burke Dwyer (Krista), Shelby Neelan, Leeza Yeremin and Dasha Yeremin; her great grandchildren, Bexley Jay Porter and Bellamy Dwyer; her sisters, Marlea Beckstead, Gail Jenkins and Wanetta Fawcett (Loren); and her pet Brownie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lava Historical Museum, or the American Cancer Society organization, both close to Joy's heart.
