He was predeceased by: his son Charles Franklin Burge; his wife Rena May Burge (Irene); his former wife Susan Ann Burge; his parents, Marion Burge and Harriet Burge (Smith); and his siblings, Marthalee Kelly, Robert Burge, Dorothy Mae Jundt and Mearl Burge.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Sue King (Angel Machin) and Dawn Marie Bird (Michael Bird); his siblings, Clayton Burge, Philip Burge, Mary Jane Coopey, Billy Joe Burge and Rosie Clawson; and his grandchildren, Charles Coy Burge, Timothy Bruce Brodkorb, Alicia Ann Brodkorb, Elizabeth Ann McDonald (Brandon McDonald), Amber Lynn Blanco (Ethan Blanco), Shannon Nicole Mann (Alex Mann) and Anthony Michael Bird (Riley Bird).
