Joan Houston Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Houston (Pocatello, Idaho), who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband J. Russell Houston. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Houston (Evelyn) of McCammon, ID, Shawn Hunter, Kurt Houston (Tracey) of Emmett, ID, Kim Hanmer (Greg) of Eagle, ID and Traci Houston (Ross) of Nampa, ID; her grandchildren, Steven Newman, Georgia Christensen, Anthony Hunter, Cole Houston, Brent Houston, Samuel Hanmer and Caitlin Hanmer; and her siblings, Charlotte Jean Switzer of Covington, IN and James "Bud" Walters of Anderson, IN.. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
