He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes Hislip Kolsen; his daughter Sherri Madson (Greg); his parent Gurman Peter Kolsen; and his siblings, Kathlyn Attwood, Joan Kolsen, Larry Kolsen and Peter Kolsen.
He is survived by: his sons, Doug Kolsen (Valorie), Terrell Kolsen, Rod Kolsen (Kim), Rick Kolsen and Jim Kolsen (Adria); his son-in-law Greg Madson; and his sister Carol Bitton. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
