He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Preslar and Zoa Preslar; his sister Avalon Klein; his son Larry Preslar; and his grandson Jess Preston.

He is survived by: his wife Anna; and his children, Terry Preslar (Shirleen), Gloria Preston (Earl), Jeffrey Preslar (Tracy), Gregory Preslar (Elaine) and Mark Preslar (Vinda). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
