She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Kay Thometz, Eugene Joseph Thometz Jr., Bill, Wilbur Eugene and Falls; and her children, Jackie Zamaro and Tom Shorthouse (Jackie L. Faulkner). She is also survived by four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
