He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Ada; his brother Kenneth; and his sons, Bobby and Jeff.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Gates; his children, Jeffrey, Kim McClung (Dave) of Pocatello and Kevin Gates of Ontario, Canada; his sisters, Nancy Pollman (Hank) of Idaho Falls, Joyce Gabbert-Lockhart of Tuscan and Betty Wood of Smithfield, Utah; and his sister-in-law Jean Gabbert of Pocatello. He is also survived by his grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
