He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Brod and Magdalen Brod. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jo Schimmel; his children, Debbie Bieker (Ralph), Cindy Morimoto (Mike Ewing) and John Brod; his grandchildren, Casi Porter (Tom), Ralph Bieker, Jenni Hagler (Drue), Justin Bieker and Elizabeth Rosa (Quest); and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Jett and Cason Porter.
