She was predeceased by: her son Michael Hoffman; her parents, Clifford Anderson and Ellen Anderson; her brother Gary; her sister-in-law Nyla Anderson; her brother Val; her sister-in-law Pauline Anderson; her siblings, Clyde Anderson and Ellen; her brother-in-law Bert Ballard; her sister Clifta; her brother-in-law Tom Davidson; and her sister Glenda Carter.

She is survived by: her former husband Randy Cates; her son Scott Cates (Kelly); her sister-in-law Helen; her daughters-in-law, Kelly and Krissy; her husband John Hoffman; her children, Chrystal Hoffman and Greg Hoffman (Kristine); her daughter-in-law Shellie Hoffman; and her brother Ned Anderson (Ellen) of Pocatello, Idaho. She is also survived by 10 grandkids.
