He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philip Goebel and Delores Goebel (Schlect); his former wife Eleanor Kathryn Haak; his wife Eleanor Goebel; his children, Dale (Diane) of Athol, ID, Nancy Howard (Randy) of Hayden, ID, Pamela Smith of Coeur and Suzanne Adkinson of Post Falls, ID; and his siblings, Darvin Gobel of Wishek, ND, Gary Goebel (Deb) of Wishek, ND, Shirley Riley (Lawrence) of Black Hawk, SD, Ruby Stevahn of Jamestown, ND, Lyla Kaesman of Bismark, ND, Sharon Wuolle of Fargo, ND and Linda Gahner. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
