He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Carpenter and Mildred Carpenter (Johnson); and his brother Pete Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Keith Carpenter (Megan) of Spokane, WA, Chris Carpenter (Lori) of Bonners Ferry, WA and Kim James (Joey) of Rathdrum, ID; his stepchildren, Rocky Vaughn (Holly) of Bakersfield, CA and Sherrie Sims of Cataldo, ID; and his brother Jim Carpenter (Melba) of Radersburg, MT. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shoshone Funeral Services (106 S Main St, Kellogg, ID 83837). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Lake Cemetery.
