He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Stacy Long (Doug Williams), Stephen Coates Jr., Dallen Coates, Autumn Roseberg (Andy Roseberg) and Alyssa Madrid (Angel Madrid); his brothers, Ace, Zan McCurry and Dennis; his sister-in-law Laurie Anderson; his former wife Brenda Coates; his parent Dolly McCurry; his daughter Brittney Coates; his brothers, Matt McCurry and Robert Combe; his grandparents, Margaret Speer and Dallen Coates; his great-nephews, Damon Payne and Timothy Radabaugh; and his mother-in-law Donna Uscola. He was also cherished by Three Nieces and Three Nephews. several great nieces and nephews.
