It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Leon Herrera of Paul, Idaho, born in Conejos, Colorado, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Herrera and Shon Herrera; and his siblings, Anthony, Roger, Gilbert and Debbie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Herrera; his children, Albert Herrera, Tina Gross (Ron) and Sammy Herrera Jr.; his grandchildren, Ronnie, George, Nathan, Tressa, Albert Jr., Cheyanne, Miraya, Angel, Maryjane and Joanie; his great grandchildren, Alaiya, Trinity, Kinzley, Dezmon, Draeger, X'zavion, Penelope and Elencia; and his siblings, Geraldine Trujillo, Grace Herrera, Charles Herrera and Joe Herrera. He is also survived by several loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and the many friends.
