He is survived by: his spouse Nancy; his children, Bryan Kappel and Kellie Napoli (Bob); his grandchildren, Katie Kappel, Kelsey Kappel and Brett Kappel; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony Napoli, Sal Napoli and Joe Napoli; and his siblings-in-law, Maryjane Benham and Vicki Heinemann.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parma Hockey Association or the charity of your choice.
