He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Rueth and Agnes Suda; his siblings, Bernard "Bun" Rueth (Marjorie), Edward "Eddie" Rueth (Florence), Patrick Rueth (Carol), Mary Ann Gleichsner (Frank), Jayne Kolbeck (Lavern), Joseph and John Rueth; his siblings-in-law, James, Lila O'Brien, Richard and Jim O'Brien; his daughter-in-law Anita Rueth; and his grandsons, Craig Rueth and Dustin Chant.

He is survived by: his wife Kap; and his children, Charles Rueth (Brenda), Gerald Rueth, Shelia Keith (Randy), Sharon Rueth, Randall Rueth, Douglas Rueth, Fredrick Rueth, Raymond Rueth (Vickie), Norman Rueth (Jody), Shelby Hilliard (Clint Koplin), Dennis DeBord (Debie), Santiago Guerricabeitia (Kristen) and Kyle Nolder (Laura). He is also survived by His ten children brought him 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
