She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hansen Jr. and Rosezella Skinner; her daughter Viola Marie Thornock; and her siblings, DelMar, Kent, Mary Lou, Luella, Madeline, Delane and Vera.

She is survived by: her husband Verden Thornock; her children, Jimmy Thornock (Margaret), Dale Thornock, Curtis Thornock and Laura Thornock Dooley; and her siblings, Rulen, Arlene, Alice, Audrey and Vella. She is also survived by Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
