He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dechand and Mary Dechand (Ickes); his wife Pam Lees; and his daughter Krissy Dechand. He is survived by: his children, Cindy McDowall (Robert) of Chewelah, Richard Dechand (Stacy) of Kingston and Tony Dechand (Tina) of Osburn, Idaho; and his sister Helen Sevey of Spokane, Washington. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
