He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Irving Sperry and Orine Bernice Sperry (Cork); his son Brian Patrick; his father-in-law Raymond Sprute; and his brother-in-law Patrick Sprute.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Warren and Michelle Marie; his wife Joanne Sperry; his children, Mike Sperry (Tina Sperry), Shellie McCarthy (Joe McCarthy), Suzanne Sperry and Joy Sperry; his daughter-in-law Lori Sperry; his grandchildren, Sydney Knuth (Nolan Knuth), Tom Sperry (Ali Sperry), Cody McCarthy (Breanna McCarthy), Trevor Sperry (Haylee Sperry) and Savannah Potter; his great grandchildren, Ray Sperry, Asher Sperry, Travis Sperry, Trace Sperry and Sage McCarthy; his grandchildren, Lexi Stauffer and Oakley Stauffer; and his siblings, Kenneth Sperry, Sandra Gilliam and Cheryl Lang. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
