He is survived by: his spouse Brenda Hamburg; his father Leo Marek of Kellogg, ID; his children, Michael Marek Jr. (Rieka) of Cataldo, ID, Brandi Scheffelmaier (Jerrod) of St. Maries, ID, Danyell Barden (Jeremy) of St. Maries, ID, Mona Sharp (Jory Worley) of Coeur and Anton Marek (Amy) of Kellogg, ID; his stepchildren, Owen Petersen (Michelle) of Post Falls, ID and Heath Petersen of Kellogg, ID; and his siblings, Donny Marek (Deb) of Pinehurst, ID, Danny Marek (Deb) of Pinehurst, ID, Terry Marek (Karen) of Kellogg, ID, Marilyn Marek of Smelterville, ID, Eleanor Goebel (Wilbert) of Coeur, Elaine Pagliaroli (Chuck) of Texas, Karen Kero of Medical Lake, WA and Deb Rodin (Rolf) of Hall, MT. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
