With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon Richard Newcomb of Osburn, Idaho, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Noel Newcomb and Martha Jane Newcomb (Thompson); his wife Susan; and his daughter Sherie Lynn Safford. He is survived by: his daughter Tricia; his son-in-law Rob Artis; his grandchildren, Bradley Fogle (Ori), Christopher Fogle (Shannon), Sean Artis, Bryar Artis (Katey), Gordon Artis (Sierra), Colton (Megan), Constance Davis (William), Victoria Johnson (Lukas) and Frederick Safford; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Calen Artis, Leiluna and Evelyn Huizar; and his brothers, Dennis and Scott Newcomb of Pahrump. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
