He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Solverson and Betty Solverson (Elizabeth); and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Solverson (Rosemary) and Neil Solverson (Sheila); his sister-in-law Marilyn Solverson; his children, Robert K (Patti Solverson), Kathy, Ron Lawson and Larry (Denise Solverson); his grandchildren, William, Adam, Kelly, Kellie, Nick, Mandie, Jamie, Joshua, Jessica and Jennifer; and his former wives, Helen and Susan. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews, cousins.
