He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Meta IV and James H Ballantyne IV; his brother Jim; his former wife Clara M Thomas; his spouse Raul Davila; his daughters, Estefania (Tim), Melena (Joe) and Anna; his grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Abigail Neef, Austin and Brooke Miller; and his sister-in-law Mary Ballantyne. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
