He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Harold and Dorothy Lena Carter (Strobel); his sons, Craig Carter (Diane) and Jimmy Deloy Carter; and his siblings, Mike Carter (Bonnie), Jim, Louann (Merle Anderson), Lois Stevens, Marie Neil and RoyDean Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi; his children, Clint D. Carter (Kristi) of Heber City, Utah, Cindy Thomas (Todd) of Preston, Idaho, Cherie Peterson (Nels) of Oakley, Idaho and Steven D. Carter of Burley, Idaho; his siblings, Lorna Howell (Charles) of Idaho Falls, Idaho and David Carter (Gail) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and his siblings-in-law, Rendell Stevens of Lewisville, Idaho and Carol Carter of Rigby, Idaho.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
