James Robert Wolcott Jr. Obituary
James Robert Wolcott Jr. born April 3rd 1941 in Philadelphia, PA passed away at his home in Nampa, ID surrounded by his family on August 4th, 2024.
James served in the US army for several years in the 1960’s, he worked at the Budd company in Philadelphia, PA for many years. In addition, he worked at Saturn car dealership in PA, and then in Boise, ID for many years, where he developed friendships that lasted a life time.
He is preceded in death by his mother Edythe Wolcott (Marcus), Father James Robert Wolcott, Sr, Wife Joyce Wolcott (Button), and sister Elizabeth Ann Grocott (Wolcott). He is survived by his children James Robert Wolcott III, Janet Ruth Wolcott, Dawna Marie Clemo, Laura Ann Looney, Alfred Blair Clemo and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life held at his residence on Thursday August 8th between 4pm and 6pm. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be sent to the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa ID.
James loved his family and friends with his whole heart, he enjoyed traveling, especially loved Hawaii and Las Vegas, he loved cars, gun ranges, a good prime rib and his many wonderful dogs that added joy to his life. The family wants to thank the VAMC in Boise and specifically Sandy, Jarrod and Julie for all their help over the years providing excellent care. James wish was to pass away in his home peacefully. Horizon Home Health and Hospice made it possible for him to be comfortable, surrounded by family and his dog Max up until his last moments. Special thanks to Leslie DeBoer for all her help, friendship and support and Loraine Batt who was a close and dear friend for many years and helped James be able to stay in his house and live the life he wanted.
