He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Blake and Grace Hunter Messinger; and his children, Kerrie Mattravers (Bill) of Boise, ID, William Blake Messinger of New York, NY and Maurice Brett Messinger (Nancy) of Fullerton, CA. He was also cherished by four grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
