He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Floyd and Virginia Elaine Hoven (Ellison); and his siblings, Roger and Shirley. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Hoven; his son Noah; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hoven; his grandson Gunner John Hoven of Osburn; his daughter Staci Jean Hoven of Coeur; his mother-in-law Doris Cunningham of Worley; his sister-in-law Candie Hoven of Mullan; his niece Tiffinay Walker; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nyah, Haggen, Sloan and Nika of Hayden; his niece Stephaine Hoven; his great-niece Leah of Wallace; his siblings-in-law, Patricia and Scott Satterfield; his nieces and nephews, Shae, McKenna of Anchorage, Alaska, Jim Taylor and Jack Taylor of Mullan; and also Elaine Molman of Susanville, California..
