She was predeceased by: her parents, Eske Masher and Elsie Masher (Miller); her former spouse Russell Newell; and her siblings, Wilburn Boyer, Evelyn Zingler and Arlee Boyer.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Newell (Janet), Charles Newell, Joseph Welling and Loretta Rae Thatcher (Bob). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
