She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Ray Farmer and Ida Jane Sluder Farmer; her husband Edward Arthur; her son Herbie Arthur; her grandsons, Billy Castaner and Steven Arthur; her siblings, Howard, Daryl Farmer, Phyllis Neaves, Lois Nichols and Lenna Keys; and her close friend Jim Muenzhuber.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Cortez of Walla Walla, WA, Connie Pitman (Paul) of Mullan, Jessie Ploharz (Jerry) of Mullan, Brenda Jones of Spokane, WA and Ray Arthur (Khristine) of Elko, NV; and her siblings, Eva Sue Weaver of Jefferson, NC, Pat Mahaffey of Creston, NC and Tom Farmer of Creston, NC. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
