He was predeceased by: his father Darwin Ness; his wife Sheila; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Ness. He is survived by: his mother Dolores Bossen Ness (Dee) of Watertown, SD; his siblings, Valoree Ness (James Gross) of Maple Grove, MN and Ferrand Ness (Chip) of Middlegrove, NY; his niece Brandy Lant (Jason); his great-nephews, Jack and Garrett; his nephew Eric Ness of Saratoga Springs, NY; and his aunt Bonnie Bossen Vrondran of Vienna, SD.
