With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Alfred Tatko in Moscow, Idaho, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Alfred Tatko to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob and Anna Pieger Tatko; his brother Gene; and his son-in-law Howard Schwartz. He is survived by: his daughter Janie; his wife Francie of Lewiston; his children, Doug (Stacy) of Spokane, Bobbi Hazeltine (Rory) of Walla Walla, Sandy Gorman (Mike), Calif, Jane Schwartz (Mark) of San Anselmo and Mike (Tina Cady) of Lewiston; and his sisters, Louise Cummins (Dave) of Spokane, Margaret Kubec of Thornton and Colo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He and Francie donated a parcel of land behind Highland High School for an athletic field, and in 2018, Tatko Field was dedicated at the June Picnic.
