It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard H Gilmore (Moscow, Idaho), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Gilmore and Alta Gilmore. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Treichel (Del), Patrick Gilmore (Collett), Amy Solberg (Mike), Tara Young (Brian) and Brian Gilmore (Lindsey); his sister Nancy Flagan (Art); and his grandchildren, Kai, Tashi Simpson, Jackson, Brennan, Keira Gilmore, Paige Fiene (Dakota), Sierra Oakley (Cole), Shan, Hunter, Savannah Solberg, Eden Valencia (Evan), Noah, Josiah, Selah Young, Chloe and Brady Gilmore. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (618 E 1st St, Moscow, ID 83843). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Freeze Cemetery.
