He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold King and Ruth Carscallen King; his wife Connie Broenneke; his daughter Chris Menter (John) of Troy; his sister Gayle Owen (Earl) of Troy; his grandchildren, Randy Menter of Moscow and Kayla Menter; his great grandchild Royal of Spokane; his brother-in-law Butch Broenneke (Cindy) of Asotin; and his nieces and nephews, Michele Barden (Steve) of Lewiston, Trisha Broenneke, Jason Broenneke (Liz) of Sammamish, Wayne Owen (Lupe) of Spokane and Ed Owen (Tammy) of Huntsville.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Moscow Ambulance.
