It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Whiteley (Moscow, Idaho), born in Troy, Idaho, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wood and Eugenia Wood; and her sisters, Dorothy and Francis. She is survived by: her sons, Jefferson Slack of Moscow, Michael Slack of Deary, Robert Mathew Slack of Lewiston and Charles Whiteley (Chas) of Troy; her husband Chip; and her brothers, Phillip and Michael of Texas. She is also survived by family home, her four sons, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Troy Historical Society or the Troy Ambulance.
