With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Renee Calene (Moscow, Idaho), born in Lewiston, Idaho, who passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Betsy Hartwig Calene; her cousin Cheryl Brinkley; her uncles, Bill Hartwig, Mike Calene and Larry Calene; her father Pete Calene; her brother James Calene; and her stepmother Jan Calene.
She is survived by: her son Jacob Lincoln; her boyfriend John Edward Smith II; her brother John Calene; her nephews, John, Joshua and Jeremy; her stepsiblings, Tim, Rose Connor, Hope Hobbs, Charles Brinkley and Jodee Brinkley; and her aunts, Louise Larrazolo and Maryanne Lund.
One of the causes Julie was passionate about was organ donation. Her last gift to humanity before departing this life was to donate her organs.
