He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Peterson and Jane Peterson (Shelton); and his siblings, Norma Jean, Gary and L. Ray Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Cossairt; his children, Jim (Sue) of Thornton, CO, Steve (Leslie) of Dallas, TX and Susie (Mike) of Bellingham, WA; his grandchildren, Curtis, Colin, Asheton Peterson, Jenai Johns-Peterson, Samantha (Evan), Lexie Cox and Drew Gale (Danielle); his great grandchild Bradley Gale; and his siblings, Edna Howell, Mary Hanby, Chuck Peterson (Julie), Ellen Mitchell (Ron), Judy Fritz (Jim) and Sharon Kelley (Dennis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
