He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Lillian Coles and Lester Hans; his siblings, Melvin Coles, Weldon Coles, Betty Hill and Colleen Coles; and his brother-in-law Wayne Whitten.
He is survived by: his children, Shalene Chandler (Leland) of Blackfoot, Michele McPherson (Duncan) of Nevada, Casey Coles (Reana) of California, Leslie Fowler (Jay) of Utah and Tonya Eusepi (Chuck) of Boise; his siblings, Jerry Coles of Groveland and Thelma Whitten of Riverside; his half-sister Helen Beth of Utah; his sister-in-law Alice Coles of Blackfoot; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Cody, Elliott, Patrick, Caniesa, Sabrina, Denise, Cameron, Kyle, Kody, Nicholas and Dakota. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
