He is survived by: his wife Teresa Nevarez of Blackfoot; his children, Ruben Nevarez of Blackfoot, Esmeralda Nevarez of Blackfoot, Jaime Nevarez of Blackfoot, Victor Hugo Nevarez of Pocatello, ID, Alvaro Nevarez of Milipitas, CA and Gustavo Nevarez of Idaho Falls, ID; and his siblings, Alejandro Nevarez of Mexico, Bernardo Nevarez of Mexico, Gumaro Nevarez of Mexico and Imelda Nevarez of Indiana. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
