It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Baptiste Carricaburu (Montpelier, Idaho), who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Julie Horyna; his grandson Michael Maxfield; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bertagnolli, Josephine Jauregui, Robert Carricaburu and Mary Anne Matassa.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Lisa Carricaburu (Robert Maxfield), Kathleen Carricaburu (Chris Newton) and Josette Gaztambide (Marc); his grandchildren, Marcel (Bria), Danielle Gaztambide, Amanda, Patrick Maxfield and Amaia Horyna; and his siblings, Catherine Foxhoven (Mike) and Dr. Pierre Carricaburu (Maria). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
