He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Olevia and Eugene Alfred Lane. He is survived by: his children, Lanitta Lee and Deanna Marie; his wife Ann Hulme; and his children, Steve Lane (Michele) and Shannon Michel (Brad).

They donated annually to the Bear Lake School system, The Oregon Trail Museum, and the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital.
