He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Benson Shirley; and his children, Linda Rogers (Tom), Jeri Crawford (Frank), Bill Shirley (Jan), Nancy Reynolds (Rob) and Mike Shirley (Dottie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren.
