He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Nate and Vera Frongner Nate; his brother Bob; and his grandson Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Sorensen; his son Ryan Nate (Irish); his grandchildren, Laeloni Cason (Dequan), Joshua (Julia), Nicholas (Taylor) and John; his great grandchildren, Avery, Amari Cason and Oaklen Nate; and his siblings, Larry Nate (Margo), Carol Lyon (Bruce) and Renae Shepherd (Ted).
